Finding an Honors Program Advisor
Please note that many students have been assigned a new Honors advisor for the spring term. Mr. Daniel Beck has joined the Honors Program advising team as a new advisor with a special focus on pre-health advising. He will also be meeting with many non-prehealth students.
You'll receive an email from your assigned advisor with instructions on signing up for advising. While the general advising breakdown is listed below, there will be a few exceptions. As such, meet with the advisor who contacts you even if it differs from the breakdown listed on this page.
- Dr. Al Beck:
- First and second-year non-pre-health students except those meeting with Mr. Daniel Beck (see below) and excluding biology, chemistry/biochemistry, neuroscience/pre-neuroscience, and psychology majors;

NOTE: First-year University Scholars generally do not meet with an Honors advisor. UNSC advisors will advise for Honors requirements. Current UNSC students will start meeting with an Honors advisor in their second year.
If you have trouble scheduling an advisement meeting, please email your assigned advisor and describe in detail the problem you are facing. He or she will work to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
