Honors College Outstanding Student Scholarship Award
Who is eligible?
- Current Baylor students enrolled in an Honors College program (Bachelor of Philosophy, Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, Great Texts, University Scholar, Honors Program)
- Must be in good standing with the Honors College
- Competitive students will have a minimum 3.5 overall GPA
How can I apply?
Applications for the current academic year are accepted annually beginning November 1 and must be submitted by January 7 for consideration. Please refer to the weekly newsletter for additional information. Students complete the online application on Scholarship Universe and submit essay responses that highlight their achievements, contributions, and aspirations. Eligible students will find the application titled "Honors College Outstanding Student Scholarship Award" on the left-side menu within their Scholarship Universe account.
What happens if I am awarded the scholarship?
Students selected for the award will be notified by early March, and the funds will be applied to spring semester charges. Please note that the scholarship award amount may be adjusted as part of a student’s overall financial aid package to ensure compliance with university regulations.
