Honors College students routinely study abroad, exploring in situa number of great texts, traditions, and ideas, experiencing holistic education under the tutelage of Baylor professors, and enjoying the camaraderie of outstanding peers. The Honors College offers scholarship resources to help defray the expense especially of summer study abroad programs. Applications are reviewed on the basis of need and merit, with a high premium placed upon the applicant's case that studying abroad significantly advances his/her academic purposes.
Students who are interested in applying for Honors College study abroad scholarships can apply through Scholarship Universe. After logging in, access the menu on the left side; select the applications tab. The study abroad application should be visible to all eligible students. Email scholarshipsHC@baylor.edu with questions or concerns.
Awards will be made at three times over the fall and spring semesters: early October, early December, and early March. Accordingly, three award cycles will be available on Scholarship Universe:

| Round 2: | Opens October 2, closes December 5 |
| Round 3: | Opens December 6, closes February 27 |
No applications for the current academic year will be accepted after February 27.
NOTE: This scholarship is not generally awarded for fall- or spring-semester study abroad programs. Priority is granted to summer study abroad programs. Once awarded, an applicant may receive the scholarship for additional study abroad programs if he/she applies again; however, the award is for study abroad only and is not automatically renewed. Awards are made to Honors College students for Honors College led programs only. Competitive students will have earned a 3.5 GPA.
