Scholarship Application Details
Prospective Students
Students who have been admitted to one or more Honors College opportunities and confirm their intent to enroll in any of those admitted opportunities through goBAYLOR (a non-binding decision) by the deadlines listed below are automatically considered for an Honors College scholarship.
- Round I – March 1
- Round II – April 1
Students are not required to submit their enrollment deposit to confirm their intent to enroll or to be considered for Honors College scholarships. No separate application or additional materials are required; students only need to confirm their intent to enroll in an Honors College opportunity through goBAYLOR.
To maximize eligibility for Honors College endowed scholarship opportunities, all students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA.
Incoming scholarship recipients have historically received annual awards ranging from $2,000 to $8,000. Review is based on the student’s Baylor application, Elite Academic Programs Application, and financial need as demonstrated through the FAFSA.
Students selected for a scholarship award will receive notification via email in mid-March (Round I) or mid-April (Round II). Students who are not selected during Round I will automatically remain under consideration for Round II. Only students selected to receive a scholarship will be notified via email. Students who are not selected will not receive a notification.
Please note that scholarships awarded to incoming students are renewable for up to 8 total semesters of support, provided that the student remains an undergraduate student in good standing with the Honors College and an up-to-date FAFSA is filed.
