Confirm Your Honors College Admission
If you’ve been admitted to the Honors College, you’ll need to confirm your intent to enroll in your goBAYLOR account. Confirming your degree, major, and/or program in the Honors College helps secure your place in your chosen opportunity and determines eligibility for scholarships. Confirmation is non-binding and does not require an enrollment deposit.
Scholarship Consideration Deadlines
To be considered for Honors College scholarship opportunities, you should confirm your admission by the following dates:
- March 1 – Round 1 scholarship deadline
- April 1 – Round 2 scholarship deadline
Scholarships are awarded based on your Baylor application, Honors College application, and demonstrated financial need (FAFSA/CSS Profile).
Final Confirmation Deadline
If you’re still discerning which major or Honors College opportunity is the best fit for you, you don’t have to rush. Many students take time to explore their options before making a final decision. However, you must finalize and confirm your choice by May 1, the national college decision deadline.
This final confirmation ensures your place in the program and allows the Honors College to plan for housing, enrollment, and community-building activities.
Important to Know About Confirming Elite Academic Degree/Majors
You may only confirm one Elite Academic Program (EAPA) degree or major from the following list: UNSC, GTX (B.A.), GTX (B.Phil.), BBF, and BBS.
If you confirm a new EAPA degree or major after previously confirming another, the system will automatically cancel your earlier confirmation and update your record to reflect your most recent selection.
Example: If you first confirm GTX (B.A.) but later confirm UNSC, your major will change to UNSC, and your GTX (B.A.) application will be marked as “declined.”
