Adam Crone

Adam is a Senior University Scholar from Eagle Pass, Texas concentrating in Medical Humanities, Biology, and Business Administration. Adam lived in Alexander Hall during his first year at Baylor and plans to attend medical school after graduation. On campus, Adam is involved in Alpha Epsilon Delta (Mission Trip Chair), the Behavioral Medicine Lab, DeBakey Scholars, and Hillis Scholars.
Adam’s favorite reading list book was Hippocratic Medical Writings. Adam has pursued research through Baylor and as a Vanderbilt UCRIP intern, focusing on stress physiology, mitochondrial biology, and the intersections of religion, spirituality, and medicine in his honors thesis. Adam has worked closely with faculty mentors including Dr. Jeff Levin, Dr. Walter Mathews, Dr. Jeff Forsse, Dr. Tomas Chapman-Lopez, Dr. Annie Ginty, and Dr. Antentor Hinton Jr.
His service includes medical mission work in South Africa and volunteering with The Cove Waco, Salvation Army, and Shepherd’s Heart.A triathlete and member of Baylor Men’s Choir, Adam encourages new students to embrace opportunities to explore, be patient with progress, and seek support from the community: “Find one or two passions that spark your interest and dive into them wholeheartedly.”
