Angel Tran

Angel is a Senior University Scholar from Salina, Kansas concentrating in Public Health and Business Administration. Angel lived at Cityside during her first year at Baylor and plans to pursue an MBA and medical school after graduation. On campus, Angel is involved with Bridgebuilding Fellows, Vietnamese Student Association, International Student Association, Baylor Medical Service Organization, and works as a Design Research Assistant.
Angel’s favorite reading list book was Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Her thesis is related to understanding the impact of parental cancer on child pro-social behavior. Angel has worked with faculty mentor Dr. Jay Yoo

Extracurricular Experiences
CMO Internship Program: Worked closely along a chief medical officer in executive meetings to decrease patient wait times and increase quality of patient care and finished a capstone project on salmonella prevention.
Research Assistant: Worked closely with a professor to publish papers exploring the affects of cancer on body image in breast cancer patients and their quality of life.
