Bianca Shah
- Political Science, History, and Legal Reasoning and Analysis
Bianca is a Junior University Scholar from Frisco, Texas, pursuing secondary majors in Political Science and History, alongside minors in Legal Reasoning and Analysis, and Poverty Studies and Social Justice. She lives in Memorial Hall and plans to attend law school after graduation. Outside of the classroom, Bianca is highly engaged in extracurricular, professional, and global experiences. On campus, she is involved in the Student Food Security Council, the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, the HRC Academic Committee, and serves as a Study Abroad Student Leader.
Her academic and professional journey has included studying abroad at Oxford with Baylor professors, volunteering with ministries in Athens during a missions trip with the Honors College, and interning at a local Waco law firm. Additionally, Bianca spent a summer working with the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty as an AmeriCorps Summer Associate, where she supported free summer meals programs in McLennan County. Bianca’s favorite reading list book is Miguel de Cervantes's Don Quixote. Her thesis explores the governmental and religious influences on the sex trafficking of women and girls in India.
