Caitlyn Beebe

Caitlyn is a junior University Scholar from Baton Rouge, Louisiana concentrating in Economics, Journalism (minoring in News Editorial), Political Science, and is also in the BIC. Caitlyn lived in North Russell Hall during her first year at Baylor and plans to attend Law School after graduation. On campus, Caitlyn is involved in Ratio Christi (A Christian apologetics student organization) and serves as a Global Politics Neighborhood Leader at North Russell Hall.
Caitlyn’s favorite reading list book was Macbeth by Shakespeare. Caitlyn is interested in writing her thesis either about the economic impacts of paid parental leave policies or the political impacts of how journalists write about economic issues.
To the new students Caitlyn says: “Use your time wisely--which does include devoting time to relaxing and having fun! College is about academics, but it's also about making new connections, being involved on campus, and growing in your faith.”
