Courtney DePalma, MA

Courtney DePalma joined the Honors Residential College staff in the fall of 2010. She earned her BA in Linguistics from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA, and her MA in Language and Linguistics from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. Prior to coming to Baylor, she taught First-Year Writing and English as a Second Language courses and she is the former Director of the Writing Center at the University of New Hampshire. She is a native of San Diego, California. Courtney and her husband Mike have two children, Lily and Thomas. For more than a decade as Program Director of the Honors Residential College, Courtney’s roles included coordinating events, advising students, coordinating Honors Line Camp, and supervising the operation of the Honors Residential College. Now, as Associate Director for Student Leadership and Engagement, her work enhances co-curricular undergraduate success among students throughout the whole Honors College.
