Hannah Yi

Hannah is a Senior University Scholar from Winchester, Massachusetts concentrating in Philosophy, Medical Humanities, Biology, and Religion. Hannah lived in Kokernot during her first year at Baylor and plans to attend PA school after graduation. On campus, Hannah is involved in the Ethics Society, Bioethics Bowl, Ethics Bowl, Young Life, and the William Carey Cranes Scholars program.
Hannah’s favorite reading list book was The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Her thesis is on the use of AI in clinical medicine. Hannah has worked with faculty mentors Dr. Jason Whitt, Dr. Chad Thompson, Dr. Devan Stahl, and Dr. Anne Jeffrey.

Extracurricular Experiences
Mayo Clinic Summer Internship: Biomedical Ethics Research internship with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I was working with a faculty mentor and researched the influence of AI in clinical care!
Medical Humanities Office Worker: Student office worker and Teacher Assistant for the Medical Humanities department. I assisted the professors with grading, printing, and preparing materials for their classes. I also served as an ambassador for the MH program.
