Lindsay Wham

  • Neuroscience, Psychology, and Business Administration

Lindsay is a Junior University Scholar from Neola, Iowa, concentrating in Neuroscience and Psychology, with a minor in Business Administration. She lived in Penland Hall during her first year at Baylor and plans to attend graduate school after graduation. Outside of the classroom, Lindsay is actively engaged in Greek life, campus recreation, and university ambassadorship.

On campus, she is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, participates in the Beach Volleyball Club, and works as a campus tour guide at the Welcome Center, where she helps introduce prospective students and their families to the Baylor community. Lindsay’s favorite reading list book is The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. For her thesis, she is interested in exploring a topic within the fields of cognitive or clinical psychology.

When asked for her advice to new students, Lindsay shares: “Stay organized and make time for things other than academics. Just using a calendar and an assignment spreadsheet can relieve so much of the anxiety that comes with the first semester of college and free up time to get involved around campus!”
