Join Baylor faculty for a lively interdisciplinary conversation about Nolan’s The Odyssey, from its relationship to Homer’s ancient epic to the choices, themes, and questions that emerge in its translation to the big screen.
Featuring Jeffrey Fish, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Classics; Kristen Drahos, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Great Texts and Theology; and Zachary Sheldon, Ph.D., Associate Teaching Professor of Film & Digital Media, the panel will bring together perspectives from classics, great texts, theology, and film to explore what Nolan preserves, reimagines, and reveals in his adaptation.
